Join the Reno cachers for the Red Jeep TB get together and big send off! Summer is here and so are the Red Jeeps! Jeeps belong up in the mountains so here is your chance to get it out of town for a day out of the hectic city! Come meet and greet your fellow cachers and have lunch with us!
SATURDAY, JULY 21ST 11am to 3pm
We will be meeting at the overlook at the Northstar Ski Resort just outside of Truckee, California. Bring your picnic lunch or buy your lunch at the resort.
Following is some of what is available at Northstar: Starbucks, French style hot dogs and belgian waffles kiosk, a pizza parlor and bistro and a bar for drinks and cocktails. For the kids, there is an arcade, a roller skating rink with skate rentals, and a super jumping/mini bungee attraction. Please note that these all have a fee.
As long as they are kept on a leash, dogs are OK! Don't forget to bring water for them!
Take a free gondola ride to the top of the mountain for a scenic photo op!
We will be holding a 50/50 raffle to help recoup the costs of the permits for our upcoming August event to be held at Rancho San Rafael Park on August 11th. (Yes! The same weekend as the cars coming to town so you can do both during the same trip!) So bring your money and your luck! You just might go home richer than when you arrived!
PLEASE NOTE THAT CHAIRS AND SHADE UMBRELLAS ARE LIMITED SO IF YOU HAVE THEM, BRING THEM!!!!! This is on the outside deck so it is in FULL sun!! Don't forget the sunscreen!!

DIRECTIONS:
Take HWY 80 West from Reno or East from Sac until you reach HWY 267 in Truckee. Drive south on HWY 267 approx 8 miles until you reach Northstar Drive. Turn right on NorthStar Dr and follow your GPS arrow to the parking lot! See you up on the deck!
