dopo oltre un mese dalla mia ultima nota, non ho ricevuto alcuna risposta.

Per questa ragione sono costretto ad archiviare questo cache. Se non lo hai ancora fatto, per favore raccogli ogni resto del cache al più presto possibile.
Se avete intenzione di intervenire sul cache, una volta completata l'operazione per favore lasciatemi un messaggio con il numero waypoint GC relativo al cache. Sarò più che lieto di verificare nuovamente il cache per verificare la sua conformità con le linee guida.

after a month from my last note I have not receive any answer and no action has been taken on the cache. For this reason, I am archiving it. If you haven’t done so already, please pick up any remaining cache bits as soon as possible.

Oggi (inutile ricordarvi Indiana Jones e, da ultimo, Il Codice da Vinci) l’affascinante mito dei monaci guerrieri riemerge prepotentemente, tra leggenda e storia, con i suoi millenari misteri…ma quanti sanno che i Templari di ritorno dalla Terra Santa sbarcarono ad Ancona e attraversarono questa regione per giungere poi in Francia?
Con la scusa di questa cache, partiamo allora insieme alla ricerca dell’eredità di questi famosi monaci cavalieri, che costituirono un ordine religioso e militare nel 1119, il cui compito era proteggere i pellegrini in Terra Santa, e che da sempre sono stati considerati i custodi del Santo Graal, il più grande ed enigmatico tra i misteri medievali.
La fondazione della chiesa di Sant’Ansovino risale probabilmente al X o XI secolo.
Questa antica chiesa è situata sotto Avacelli, presso il fosso di Fugiano lungo la strada che conduce a Serra S. Quirico.
Il più antico documento che menzioni la chiesa è del 1082. Successivamente passò nella proprietà di membri dell’Ordine Templare: nelle “Rationes Decimarum” del 1300 (una raccolta degli elenchi delle decime che ogni diocesi doveva pagare alla Santa Sede e oggi conservate presso la Biblioteca Apostolica Vaticana) risulta infatti appartenente (e tassata per la rilevante somma di 45 soldi) alla “magione templare di Pian dell’Ospedale” (la stradina che passa vicino alla Chiesa sale infatti verso un pianoro che, nell’alto medioevo, ospitava un ospizio per i viandanti).
Sulla facciata si può ammirare su pietra bianca una stupenda Croce patente astile con sei sfere, che tradizione vuole simboleggino i gradi iniziatici del Commendatore Templare che in passato vi fu sepolto. Secondo una leggenda, in questa chiesa sarebbe nascosto un prezioso tesoro e per questo la pietra sovrastante la croce è stata, all’inizio del secolo scorso, spaccata alla ricerca di una mappa o dell’ingresso di ricchezze leggendarie mai trovate (si pensava infatti che le sei sfere potessero essere lette anche come indizi utili per ritrovare il tesoro).
Nel 1308 Papa Clemente V ordinò ai vescovi di Jesi e di Fano di inquisire i Templari presenti nelle loro diocesi, tra i quali quelli apparentenenti alla “magione di S.Ansovinii nella fossa de l’omo morto”. Con assurde accuse e con le piú evidenti calunnie sostenute da falsi testimoni prezzolati, nonché con pretese confessioni estorte con la tortura, gli imputati furono condannati, i beni incamerati e tutto l'ordine dovette essere ben presto soppresso.
Della struttura originaria restano solo la facciata, due stanze sotterranee poste sul fianco sinistro della chiesa e originariamente destinate ad ossario ed una serie di capitelli all’interno. Purtroppo il complesso versa oggi in stato di semi-abbandono, il caseggiato costruito al suo ridosso è pressocchè crollato…ma se provate a chiudere gli occhi, non vi sembra di sentire ancora i cori di preghiera dei famosi Cavalieri del Tempio e il loro motto “non nobis Domine, non nobis, sed Nomini Tuo da gloriam” (Non a noi, Signore, non a noi, ma al tuo nome sia data gloria)?!

Nowadays (I think you surely remember Indiana Jones and, finally, Da Vinci Code, just to cite some instance) the fascinating mith of the warrior monks is overbearingly resurfacing, between history and legends, with its millenary mysteries…but how many people knows that, coming back from the Holy Land, Templars disembarked in Ancona and walked through this region to reach France at the end?
Thanks to this cache, let’s start together in pursuit of the heritage left by these famous knights monks, who established in 1119 a religious and military order, whose task was protecting pilgrims in the Holy Land, and who have been always considered as the guardians of the Holy Graal, the most enigmatic medieval mystery.
Sant’Ansovino Church foundation probably dates back to the tenth or eleventh century. This ancient church is placed below Avacelli, near Fugiano ditch, on the road for Serra San Quirico.
The oldest document in which the church is mentioned is dated back to 1082. Then it became a property of Templar Order members: in the “Rationes Decimarum” of 1300 (a collection of the tithes lists paid to the Holy See by each diocese and now kept in the Vatican Apostolic Library in Rome) indeed it appears as belonging (and taxed with the considerable amount of 45 soldi) to “the templar mansion of Hospital Tableland” (indeed the path near the church climbs to a tableland where, during early Middle Ages, there was a wayfarers’home).
On the front, on a white stone, you can observe a wonderful Cross with six spherules that, according to the tradition, symbolize the esoteric levels of the Templar Commendatory here buried in the past. According to a legend, a precious treasure would be hidden in this church and for this reason, at the beginning of the past century, the stone rising above the Cross was broken in searching of a map or an entrance for legendary wealth never found (people said the six spherules had to be read as useful clues to find the treasure).
In 1308 Pope Clemente V ordered Jesi and Fano bishops to subject to the Inquisition all the Templars on their dioceses, included those ones belonging to the “mansion of S.Ansovinii, placed on the dead man ditch”. Thanks to absurd accusations, manifest slanders from hired false witnesses and confessions wrung by torture , the accused was sentenced, all their properties confiscated and, in a short time, the whole order was suppressed.
From the original structure of the church, we can now only see the front, two underground rooms on the left side and originally dedicated as ossuary, and a series of internal capital. Unfortunately the church complex has fallen into a state of neglect, the block built at the church right-side is practically collapsed…but, if you try to close your eyes, don’t you hear a chorus of praise and the famous Knights Templars mormuring their hymn “non nobis Domine, non nobis, sed Nomini Tuo da gloriam” (Not to us, Lord, not to us, but to Thy name give the glory)?!
