2nd Annual Siouxland Geocaching Event

Saturday, September 8
9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Outdoor Campus
Sertoma Park
Sioux Falls, South Dakota

Join us for our gigantic
second annual event!

AGENDA

9:00am	Doors open – Registration begins



9:00am - 3:00pm	Pick up swag bags, get event cache sheets, take some containers to put your own geocaches out, take a bottle of water.



9:00am - 3:00pm	Caching Poker Run at The Outdoor Campus. Turn in your cards when you’re finished. High hand at 3 p.m. gets a prize!



9:00am - 3:00pm	Travel Bug Tables - Trade and discover your travel bugs here. Please visit Event TB/Geocoin Instructions to see what you need to do for TBs or Geocoins that you plan to leave at the event for others to take to a new cache. There will be a completely separate table for discovering TBs for anyone that wants to share their own TB. The Discovery Table TBs will be going home with their owners at the end of the event.



10:00am	GSAK Seminar, The Outdoor Campus theatre, with Dorin Hemmelman




11:30am	Caching Containers Class – learn about cache containers, from the expected to the unique, with David Haigh



1:00PM	Safety on the Hunt – Something all cachers should know. Mike Walsh from the Minnehaha Sherriff’s Office will talk about what danger may lie in the woods or fields and how you can help prevent accidents and report possible drug activity.



3:00pm	Prize drawings and awards back at The Outdoor Campus.

Directions:

From I-29: Take the 41st Street exit and proceed east on 41st Street to Louise Avenue. Turn south (right) on Louise Avenue and proceed to 49th Street. Turn east (left) on 49th Street and proceed to Oxbow Avenue. Turn south on Oxbow Avenue. Take the first left into Sertoma Park. The Outdoor Campus building is on the south end of the parking lot.
From I-229: Take the Louise Avenue exit and proceed north on Louise Avenue to 57h Street. Turn east (right) on 57th Street and left on Oxbow Avenue. Take a right into Sertoma Park. The Outdoor Campus building is on the south end of the parking lot.
