You go to the edge of Minnesota and peer into Wisconsin. (If the leaves are gone.) However you must walk on the edge to get there.
Welcome to an isolate portion of the Fond Du Lac State Forest.
You can drive to the end of the road. From there you bushwhack.
The road which is open for public use has two gates, neither of which is locked. The second is sometime closed, but can be swung aside. (I always close it behind me.)
Cache lies about .15 miles from the end of the road.

I love this deeply eroded, red clay topography. I find this a beautiful corner of Minnesota, especially in the Fall.
Typical trade items and some of my "I found it" magnets.
