Gardner, Massachusetts. Area located is slightly off from a bike path. Fairly easy and simple to find.
This cache is located on the outskirts of the graveyard of a former mental institution (which is now a prison, the North Central Corrections Institute). I chose this spot because this graveyard is very often lost to the public and many people don't know about. The intention of putting it here is not to degrade the meaning of the graveyard but to show many people that it exists (so please do not take its location as a sign of disrespect).
This Geocache gets its name because all the gravestone markers are a simple PVC pipe cross with a number on them (PVC stands for Polyvinyl Chloride). All the names of the individuals are listed at the south-eastern end of the graveyard on the large head stone.
If you are up for some scare and surprise, I highly recommend doing this one at night rather than doing it during the day. The graveyard gives you a different impression when you are viewing it for the first time at night rather than during the day (especially when first spotting it from the bike path).
When heading to this area, expect upwards of 45 minutes of walking to get there, depending on your speed. If you are quick, you can probably get there in a little over 20 minutes. Typically this will take slightly over an hour in total. Biking there will be significantly shorter.
No bushwhacking involved (except within last 5 feet). Cache is in a rubbermaid container. Please replace the cache as you found it.
