MadMin: I attempted to contact the owner of Down by the riverside to find out about the status of this cache on January 29, 2011. I have received no response from the owner on the cache page or via email. Because of that I'm afraid I have to archive this cache.

I will be more than happy to review this cache again and (hopefully) reinstate it once you have corrected any issues with the cache. please contact me via ma.reviewer@gmail.com to do so.

Geocache Description:

A 2 part multi along the Charles River in Watertown.

Park along the river side of Charles river road near the basketball courts. The first part is in a medicine container. It contains the coordinates for a plaque that has information you will use to decrypt the coordinates of the final.

The final is .43 miles from the first part, its up to you whether to walk or to drive..

The coordinates for the final cache:

Code:

X= All the digits of the date Roger and his men landed added together. Then subtract 4. (If the date is 1345, 1+3+4+5=13, subtract 4 = 9.

Y= The number of words in the first line starting with "we", then subtract 8.

A= Amount of letters in Roger's last name.

B= The amount of letters in the first word on the plaque divided by 4.

C= The last digit in the date located at the bottom of the plaque.

The final cache is very close to the plaque. Make sure you wear sneakers!!

FYI: There is a letter box cache within 20 feet of mine, so don't get confused. The real one has an official geocache sticker on it with the name.
