Geocache Description:

Buffalo Creek Wildlife Area

This wildlife area was made possible by major funding from the Delaware Co. Pheasants Forever,Delaware County Conservation Board and NRCS Emergency Watershed Program.
Hunting is allowed so be careful during open hunting seasons. The cache is a Lock N Lock container with the usual camo applied. The park is located just off County Rd. W-63 which is referred to as The Robinson Road by the locals. The park has ample parking and mowed trails for most of the way to the cache. Take note of all the shag-bark hickory trees in this small timber. I was amazed at all the empty nut shells at the base of each hickory tree. Just 2 miles North of the Park is all that remains of the unincorporated town of Robinson. One vacant storefront and six houses.
