Geocache Description:

This is the third in our series of lost-in-time cemetery puzzle caches, this time with help from sister and brother-in-law cachers, deja vu.

The grounds are not maintained, but the ground-cover is all wild blueberries and wintergreen, so it is not difficult terrain. Bring bug spray and your dog (check for ticks!), but please respect the private property surrounding the road and cemetery. The cache is placed with the land-owner's permission.

This cache will take you to beautiful Salisbury, NH. Follow the above coordinates to the start of Bog Road, about 100 feet due south of Searles Hill Road. Bog Road is not town-maintained, but is in fairly good shape for those willing to risk it with their vehicles; otherwise park at the coordinates and walk in. The cemetery is a very pretty (and very easy) 1/4 mile from the parking coordinates.

** Be aware that Bog Road is closed to vehicles during the winter months, and also at the surrounding land-owner's discretion during mud season. Please respect the Road Closed sign if it is posted, even if the road looks okay for travel. The road is open year-round to foot traffic and snowshoes/x-c skis, however. **

To solve the puzzle, use the names and dates on the stones. All clues are on upright, clearly legible markers. (In deep snow, some clues may be hard to read, and the cache may require some digging to find.) Fill in the blanks to reveal the cache coordinates. As with our other Hidden in the Stones caches, assumptions must be made about familial relationships when necessary, but have been made in good faith using only the information provided on the headstones. Enjoy your time with some of Salisbury's original homesteaders!
