Geocache Description:

Five types of wetlands are found on McNab's Island including fresh marsh, brackish marsh, salt marsh, alder swamp and treed bog, each having its own unique flora and fauna. The largest body of water on the island, McNab's Pond, is often the site of resident white-tailed deer (we saw 12 deer and a red fox the day the cache was placed).

This cache is about a kilometer and a half hike from the Garrison Pier, and lies 25 meters off trail. Cache is a small cammoed lock&lock container.
