Geocache Description:

For the adventurous geocacher - accessible only by canoe or kayak. May require overnight stay.

The upper reaches of the Noosa River offer the some of best stillwater canoeing/kayaking in south east Queensland. Motorised vehicles are prohibited in these upper stretches resulting in a much more peaceful and less crowded sojourn than would otherwise occur.

Accessing the cache will necessitate an overnight camp for some paddlers and is the recommended alternative in the opinion of the cache owners.

The "purists" will commence their quest from Elanda Point at S26 15.457 E152 59.796 while those who are short of time will start from Harry's Hut (S26 11.433 E153 01.832)

As with most hard to get to caches - it starts off with some quite desirable cache items.
