An awesome view of the Mississippi River, panoramically taking in from Alma to below the Lock.
593 steps will take you to near the top of this breathtaking viewpoint. It is a climb well worth the view. There are resting spots along the way and the path at the top is not difficult, even after climbing all those stairs.
There is poison ivy, but NOT around the cache itself. You do not have to reach through it to access this, just beware of it along the path you traverse and along the path at the top of the bluff. It is quite prevalent.
Parking is available at the base of the stairs, and there is a camping area in the park.
All guidelines for placing a cache in a State Park have been followed.
