Geocache Description:

This cache is a 12km drive up the Garibaldi Park Rd. You will need to park at the look out, take time to enjoy the veiw of Squamish and the Howe Sound, then walk about 40m down the trail first. Please try to keep this container upright & secure, the snow gets deep here

This is on the way to the parking lot that access Garibaldi Park, this area is full of incredibly beautiful sites, the Park trail leads up into the Red Heather (5Km) (1-1.5hr hike) area (there is a cache there) and the Elfin Lakes (11Km).
If you are a Mtn biker the ride up is a great long hard climb!!! The trail to this cache leads you to a fantastic descent called Power Smart or 500m down the road is the trail head for 19th Hole. For all the winter people the Park is a great day tour with lots of fresh turns around Red Heather.
Be aware of wildlife, sorry no dogs allowed up here …. (Kdawg is bummed about this).
If you just want to hike to Red Heather be sure to hike about 10mins past the cabin, the mountains are unbelievable!!
Take the kids.

Tboy, Egirl, Mbaby & the Kdawg
