Howdy!

I'd been wanting to create an underwater cache for some time and this was my best opportunity. Our family cabin is about 1.5 miles north of this location and we can see the cache hiding spot from our dock. So we may be watching from a distance!

Parking for this one is right off of the road about 100' or so north of the general cache coordinates. There is a somewhat steep trail down to the water from the pullout. Stash your GPS and jump into the water (coordinates are for the actual cache location). A snorkle and mask may be of benefit to you but isn't completely necessary as the cache is located in about 5' of water. There is a clip at the bottom of the cache to detatch it and bring it to shore for logging. MAKE SURE TO TIGHTEN THE LID WELL! We want this one to be there for the next cachers to find too!

NOTE: If you plan on reaching this one by boat, keep a look out for an underwater log near the cache. The log is about 3' under the water. Be careful as we don't want anyone to damage their boat!

Original content was only a log book, but small travel bugs and the like are welcomed. Just please don't place heavy objects.

Enjoy the lake and have fun finding this one!!

Final Note: This one will is a seasonal cache as the water level of the lake will drop in the fall and will freeze over in the winter. Who wants to swim in freezing water anyways?!
