There are two ways to approach this cache. One is to park at the trailhead, start on the trail, then veer off the trail through some knee-high grass. The other/shorter way is to park off the side of the road where there is no trail to start with and just go through the field/grass. Either way, long pants are recommended for this one and it might be tough for younger kids.
Thanks to JAMM, a Connecticut cacher, for letting me "steal" the idea for this series.
What better way to celebrate the holidays than with a series of caches. As this IS Rochester, we all know how unpredictable the weather can be for caching in the winter, so instead, we'll be celebrating Cachemas in July! This series is based on a familiar Christmas song. There will be a series of 12 caches, one for each of the 12 days of Cachemas, and each will hold a clue to a 13th bonus cache.
On the fifth day of Cachemas my true love gave to me:
Five Lock 'n Locks
Four Geocoins
Three film cans
Two Travel Bugs and
A Decon in a pine tree
Cache is a large Lock 'n Lock with standard trade items. There's a lammie for FTF.
Congratulations to Wandering Buck for his FTF!
