Flat terrain close to the shore of Porto Heli Bay.
This cache is a 35mm film case with log & pencil stub, possibly room for a GeoCoin! It is near one of 2 'on shore' sites of the ancient ruins of the settlement of Halieis. The rest of the ruins are now under the water though can still be seen. You can drive, cycle, walk or sail to this cache quite easily from Porto Heli town, though if walking best to go early or later in the day during the summer as it gets quite hot. The ruins aren't the most sepctacular in Greece but are interesting to see and of course you get a fabulous new perspective of the town of Porto Heli. It's also the best side of the bay to enjoy the amazing sunsets we get here everyday!
