Huning Hill.
I-25 to Highway 6.
The hill was private property,but the Huning Family has deeded the 1525 acres of the hill to the Village of Los Lunas as open space.
Vulcan has had, a long day of forging (GC52E0),and making executive decisions,(GC59FF)and he needs a place to chill out.
Cache is a .30 Cal. ammo can located on the east side of the hill.
How you decide to get to the cache is up to you.
I parked on the northeast side of the hill and followed an ATV trail up.(3.60 miles round trip)
Going farther west along Hwy 6 to ATT. Road and south to the turn off to the microwave station might be easier and closer.
As with all caches in the Hinterlands care should be used.

Bring:
Plenty of water.
Sturdy boots.
Hat.
Cellphone.
Beware of:
Angry Sand Moose.
Pointy plant life.
Biting,or stinging insects,who are too stupid to Realize how big you are.
Grumpy Reptiles.
