Ortega Adobe
This Humble adobe was built in 1857 by Emigdo Ortega. In 1897 the Ortega family started the Ortega Chili Company here also in this tiny house. So, stop and have a look around at some forgotten history of Ventura County. While you are here do not be alarmed if you see something move out of the corner of your eye or feel an ice cold wind brush passed you. And should you hear the light sound of a guitar playing in the breeze, just remember you may not be alone.
