Geocache Description:

A 4 leg multicache on a long trail. It is recommended you take some water along.

The multi contains 3 re-directors and a final cache which is stocked with odd goodies I had laying around.

You'll be walking mainly on a trail named Powder Monkey. Starting around #3 you'll then be on Baseball trail. Depending on where you park, you will either start on Powder Monkey, or Outpost which connects into Powder Monkey. We started on Outpost, your parking may vary.

The first re-director is a small film canister type about 2 feet off the trail. The re-directors and final are what I'd like to call "geo-obvious". The tree cover will hinder the GPSr accuracy so get as close as you can then look for somewhere you think it would be hidden - you'll probably be correct. The hike is long and I'd hate for someone to miss a re-director and have to redo it later.

We took both dogs with us. The lab made it fine, the chihuahua was carried some. Both drank alot of water at two small water crossing. They were small enough we could just step over them though so no worries.

Each re-director gives the coords to the next one along with a small hint. Nothing I'd consider blatant, but enough that you shouldn't miss it and have to come back later. Just remember - "geo-obvious"

We walked this trail and enjoyed the nature and oddities. We saw old house foundations, some fences and possibly livestock pens, what appeared to be an old public toilet and a well. The well was about 6 feet off to the left of the trail, very obvious.

IMPORTANT: This cache is located within Cameron Park. Do NOT cache alone OR at night. Bring a buddy along! This trail is used during the daytime by joggers and mountain bikers so its likely you will see someone along the way.
