The cache is located near the Rosevear Ferry. This is one of only a few remaining river ferries in Alberta.
The Rosevear Ferry will be replaced by a bridge probably within 5 years. Come visit it before it is gone, bring the kids or grand kids and take a ride across the McLoed River. The ride is free. You can access the Ferry from Hwy 16 or secondary Hwy 748. Range Road 154 is paved and 748 is paved. The cache is in a peanut butter jar. The original contents were. Log book, pencil and sharpener. Mini screwdriver set, Lighthouse, 2 Sunvisor sunglass clips, Harley Davidson keychain, Signal the frog antenna ball.
This is also a good put in spot for a canoe trip. The bridge north of Peers as a take out makes a good day trip.
