This little roadside attraction is sure to get the attention of all the benchmark hunters out there. This is a nice and simple two-for-one cache. It is located near mile 78 on the Richardson Highway and was placed one evening during a 200 mile bicycle race, although I was not in the race. I did have the opportunity to talk to several of the participants as they sped by me on their way from Sheep Mountain to Valdez and back.
This is just off the main highway and is easily accessible with a bicycle. It will require a short walk if you are driving as there isn't a pullover close by. It should be available year round. Please reattach it after you are done.
