How Geocaching Works

Geocache Description:

Greeting! It is Friday the 13th and I took the day off work to do some landscaping. But I had this idea inspired by something I found on another geocaching website. I had to try it (if *gln will allow it), so I am placing this cache today. There are a lot of other caches like this out there just not around here.

NOTE: THE WEBSITE AND AUDIO FILE ARE NO LONGER AVAILABLE. THE HINT CAN BE USED TO FIND THIS CACHE.

In order to find this cache, first you need to go to my linked website (located at very top of this cache page: "users web page"), and dowload the file mpc.zip.

Please realize that downloading files from the internet is not always safe and the user downloads the files at their own risk

Unzip this file and download it to your mp3 player, phone, pda or whatever portable device you have that will play a ".wav" file.

Then, go to the posted coordinates above. You need to bring your "device" of choice, and your GPSr. You will need to follow the audio instructions contained on the .wav file attached to this cache page.

This is my first PodCast and it is a Podcache! konopapw asked me to do a podcast last year and I declined, just didn't feel like it I guess. But today I am doing my own! Not that it is very interesting but it will get you to the cache. Again, you will need your GPSr, as well as your .mp3 player, iPod, pda, phone, laptop, whatever it takes. Get with the times people!

The terrain isn't bad, the "terrain rating quiz" system called it a five because you kind of need specialized equipment (mp3 player) but I am calling it a 2.5.

[In my opinion as cache hider, the RIGHT way to do this cache is with the soundtrack. However, there is a WRONG way as well which is acceptable.
