Geocache Description:

Depending on your route, a rough 3.5 mile round-trip hike, a 5.5 mile round-trip hike following a 4WD trail, a medium 4WD trip in the summer and a difficult 4WD trip if the creeks have a lot of water (spring). Whatever method you choose - this is a remote desert area. BE VERY PREPARED! Hiking distances are if you start near BumbleBee.

This area along the Black Canyon Creek (normally dry) is heavy with active and inactive mining claims. The cache is located near some miner shacks with a miner's grave(?) nearby.

Be prepared with plenty of water and let someone know where you are going. We don't want the Yavapai County Jeep Posse looking for you, instead of the cache. :-)

The coordinates have been corrected on 10/13/01!
