A landfill
of big concrete slabs from the local Pie Slave Factory would
not be found as something to be grateful for by most people
but we think differently. We see it as meaning our place of
work is growing and prospering, building us a better place to
work. It also gives us an excellent place to hide a cache. We
think people should be grateful for the little overlooked
things in life. That it the "Gratitude" part of the cache.
The rock part is this-- We left a big pile of rocks of all
kinds in front of the cache. There is even a un-cracked geode
there, quarts crystals of all kinds and sizes, jasper from
the diamond mine in Arkansas, many polished stones, a few
arrowhead pieces including half of an axe head, thumb
scrapers, some small stalagmites, fossils, round rocks,
pointy rocks just plain old rocks even. These rocks are there
for a reason. They are "Gratitude Rocks" You may take one if
you wish, if you do this will be your Gratitude Rock. To log
this cache think of two simple overlooked things in your life
that you are grateful for and include them in the online
logging of the cache, this is a requirement of the cache. You
can leave a rock there in return but that is not
required.
Every aspect
of our lives grows richer as we give thanks for what we have, and
what is yet to come.
Gratitude
Rock is a tool. Every time you touch your Gratitude Rock, it
anchors a thought of Gratitude. Reminding you to take a moment to
appreciate. Each thought of gratitude is a magnet. Gratitude Rock
serves as an energy spark to the universe.
Giving
gratitude provides gifts to the giver and receiver. You may be
grateful for anything; your job, your family, your health, your
friends, the good weather, or world events.
As you give
thanks...you get. This process is very simple. Keep your gratitude
flowing and be open to receive. The universe will help you with the
rest.
