Mt. Washington Park, now part of Emerald View Park (Pittsburgh's newest Regional Park), was established in 1908. Because the land is so steep the park was nicknamed “Goat Park”. In a 1916 listing of city parkland, this "unimproved track” was deemed “not worth visiting”. Ironically, that has helped make it one of Emerald View Park's most ecologically interesting parts. Please keep on existing trails to help maintain this ecological integrity. Enjoy the cache!
The cache contains a notepad for logging.
