This cache has been archived.

Skookum Bear: As the cache owner has not indicated that they have visited the cache location to replace it if it was missing, perform needed maintenance, or verify that it is still there within a reasonable amount of time, I am regretfully archiving the cache to clear it from the active cache database and open the area to new caching opportunities. If the cache owner would like to replace a cache at this location, please submit a new geocache listing and it will be reviewed under the current Geocaching guidelines.

Please do not respond to this note by sending an email reply - your response will go to an unmonitored location and disappear into the ether instead of being sent to me. If you need to contact me regarding this cache, please do so using the link on my Profile Page

Geocache Description:

This is a Leterbox cache that is on the trail to the Fairy door cache. It is a medium sized plastic lock and lock container with a stamp and felt marker in it that should not be removed. It is located close to a fairy door. Bring a stamp and log book of your own so that you can exchange images with the one in the cache. Take Booth Canal Road and then use the trailhead co-ordinates that I have posted.

You can purchase a stamp if you don't have one. There are some great images that are sold right here on the island or you can make your own by carving an eraser. Letterboxing is a great way of keeping a picture memory of the caches that you have been to. If you have brought a stamp with you then you can sign the log and write your comments along with an impressdion of your stamp. If you have brought a log book then you can make an impression of the stamp that is in the cache in your log book that you will take with you and keep your images in. There are some stamps in the cache for trading amoungst other things.
PLEASE LEAVE THE FELT MARKER AND STAMP IN THE CACHE. Some letterboxers always take a felt marker or ink pad with them when they in case the one in the cache doesn't work.

Note about ROSIE'S BOWL:
If you hike up to the top there is a really cool tribute to a well loved dog up there with an amazing view and a notebook with a picture and invitation to write your thoughts. This is at N 48 50.899 and W 123 33.073
