Located near Lake Nebagamon with a beautiful view of Lake Minnesuing. The hiding spot is easy but there is a grassy incline (poss. with a fallen tree in the way) and some loose gravel that may need to be negotiated in order to get to the cache.
Hidden in a water-tight, ammo-box (upgraded 10/2017), the cache holds a log book and has room for lots of travel bugs. The initial placement of this cache had 2 travel bugs as well as a small assortment of trinkets for the kiddies. Keep clear of the long, pivoting traffic, and think of better ways to approach cache than walking right to it; otherwise, finding this cache should be easy and fun. After a muggle late in the season of 2008, a second version of the cache was placed (with another starter cache full of miscellaneous items). Also, in late October 2017, a 3rd version of this cache was made due to the last version being overtaken with water from a leaky cache container. This time, it’s a water tight, plastic ammo box! Watch out for ticks and other annoying Wisconsin bugs during and after looking for this cache in the warmer months. Once you find it, be sure to re-seal the container tightly and re-hide well (and right-side-up to keep it dry). Thanks for looking!
