Located in Lynn Woods, lots of tree cover makes GPS accuracy difficult.
This cache is placed in memory of Bob Hogan, one of the geocaching founders in MA and replaces his original cache location (GCDB Lynn Woods - 12/09/2000). Bob's original cache was the 1st cache placed in Lynn Woods, 4th cache placed in MA and 219th cache placed in the world. (Source: https://www.acme.com/jef/geocaching/oldest.html). After Bob's passing in 2003 and the recurring trashing of the original cache location, the cache was archived. As GCDB Lynn Woods was my first find, I tried to get it reinstated to no avail and instead "replaced" it with a new cache close to the original location but safe from any muggles. Cache is in a green ammo box and on the day I placed the cache accuracy was 26 ft. Happy Hunting!
