Being a complicit skwerlhugger seeking to aid an abet the
bushytail horde's efforts, I've conceived some fun with the local
wildlife in their habitat to share with you.
This is their home, not ours, so be respectful. If you have a
chance, thank the volunteers for saving this habitat for the
animals and us to enjoy.
Open daily 9am-4pm
There is no admission charge to walk the
trails. If you visit the formal gardens there is a suggested
donation. That is one way they stay open.
NO BUSHWHACKING. PARK IN THE PARKING LOT AND TAKE THE
TRAIL.
Meerkerk
Rhododendron Gardens, a
not-for-profit garden open to the public, encompasses ten acres of
display and educational gardens enveloped by forty-three acres of
woodland preserve with 4-5 miles of nature trails. Friends of
Meerkerk memberships, plant sales, admission donations and
contributions combine to care for the Gardens. We hope you enjoy
your visit and visit often.
