Geocache Description:

Good Harbor Bay Historical Landmark near mile marker 104 on hwy. 61. Requires a short hike and some climbing.

This cache is located on the beautiful highway 61 near the Good Harbor Bay historical landmark just south of Grand Marais. After parking your vehicle at this landmark and taking a moment to look at the bay, turn around and notice the tall rock cliff across the road. You will need to get up this cliff to find the cache. Do not try to climb the cliff, the rock is loose in places and could be dangerous. A short hike SW on hwy 61 will bring you to a climbable area that will give you easy access to the cache location. The cache is located amongst the tall birch trees on the cliff.
