Geocache Description:

Drive-in Nostalgia I have gone back and checked the coordinates listed for this cache and they took me to within 15 feet of the location, but the coordinates that follow took me to within 5 feet. N40° 30.631 W107° 31.863. Thanks to those who questioned it in their logs, but I believe my coordinates are correct.

Although it has decayed into more of an eyesore than a monument and it has been years since the projector whirred and the pictures shimmered on the big screen. And even though the sound of popcorn popping and the smell of butter wafting through the air has faded away. I sometimes can still hear the voices crackle through the speaker hanging in the drivers side window as this old drive-in theater just down the road whispers it’s memories to me. Perhaps if you listen close there will be some memories there for you too. If you drive close to the theater and get out and turn north and breath deep maybe you can still smell the hamburgers sizzle from the old building that was Craig's last car-hop attended fast food drive-in. Remember those? This cache was placed in a convenient location to make it easy to get to, with good parking out of the way of most traffic and muggles. It started out with some nice treasures, mostly toys for the kids. Please try to keep the treasures you replace them with on the nicer side if you can. If not then just have fun anyway.
