Penn's Weeping Beech Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

ajkormann: The cache has run its course. If the area is available come spring, I'll put another out there. The tree is too wonderful to not draw attention to.

Geocache Description:

Dead-end road leading to the Penn's Weeping Beech

One of the Penn's Trees: Historical Weeping Beech.

A Penn Tree must have been alive when William Penn took title for the Pennsylvania territory from the King of England (King Charles) to qualify. The coordinates will bring you to an easily found magnetic nano on the fence post to the right of this 300+ year-old tree. Yes, 300+ years old.

No need to go into the fenced area.

A sign hidden behind the foliage reads:
Planted by Alexander Bane; 1703-1711
