Geocache Description:

To get to the cache go to Windyville MO and take MM Hwy.

Near Windyville, Missouri one will find Historic Lone Rock. "The rock is approximately 100 feet long, 60 feet wide and about 30 feet tall and rumored to have been a meteorite. The large rock has been the site of Sunday school picnics and gatherings of all kinds.

A few people still live in haunted Windyville, once home to grist and flour mills, and the population increases if you count ghosts. Some say the spirits are Civil War soldiers; others say the town was built on a Native American burial ground. Visitors have reported screams from the old cannery building, Several individuals have reported seeing the apparition of a man on horseback rise up from the cemetery at Lone Rock (2nd stage of the cache) and hover in the air only to disappear as quickly as it appeared

The listed coordinates will get you to the first stage of the cache. When you get to the first stage note the date over the door. Caution there is another date on a nearby gate. Ignore this date, it is the one over the door you need.

The second stage coordinates are.
N 37° (A) .398
W 092° (B) .134

To get the (A) numbers take the first 2 numbers of the date and add 24. To get the (B) numbers take the last 2 numbers of the date and subtract 25.

These coordinates will get you to stage 2 of the cache, which is a micro container about the size of a 35mm film canister where you will find the coordinates to the final cache. Easy to find, it’s in a typical hiding place. The hint tells it all.

NOTE: There is very little walking to do this cache. However there is a little over a ½ mile drive between stage 2 and the final stage of this cache which would be a nice walk in the country if you choose.
