Geocache Description:

Use Exit 242 off of I-25. Head West on RT.165 for 3.1 miles.
Turn right on the dirt road cross the cattle guard & drive a few hundered feet to the SECOND pull off on the LEFT.
Park at the STRIP MINE TRAIL SIGN and follow the very obvious trail,

Stay on the trail until until you get to the HIGH point then walk about 300 feet UPHILL to the Cache.

The Cache is located under a Small half dead Juniper, its painted camo green with the Offical Geocaching Sticker attached.
Its covered with some wood.
Its has a Logbook & a Small Stubby Pencil.
I Would Bring writing Tool.
OK for small TB's
Elevation Change from parking to cache MAY be 200 feet

You may also Park near the EAST end of the Strip Trail
The East End is located at 35 17.725 106 27. 425 and is the shorter distance to the cache.

Best Done Early Morning in the Summer.
There are Several More Caches Nearby.

The Strip Mine Trail is 1.8 miles in length the cache is much closer.
