Located along the Cattaraugus Creek in Irving, N Y. The terrain is basically flat with sand in some areas and a compacted dirt trail.
Located near the end of Buffalo Rd, Irving, N Y. The area is actively used by fishermen most of the year.
This is the first of a series of caches dedicated to fishing spots in parts of Erie and Chautauqua counties. As noted on "Old Catt Creek" this area has been popular for many years. Many of the cachers signing in have reported being here before.
The cache has been stocked with fishing related items. I would ask that you leave the tape measure for all to use when they measure the size of their story.
The trail follows the creek. Somes areas have some sand and others are hard packed dirt and will be muddy and slippery when wet. So bring your GPSr and your pole.
