Geocache Description:

A bonus, the reward for finding "Ieaux Dude!"

The coordinates above are not for the cache itself. Rather than give a random point, I thought I'd give the coordinates for La Cotte a la Chevre - a difficult to get to cave on the north-west coast between Grosnez and Plemont. To get there you must battle with steep bracken-covered slopes, a 'path' with a big steep drop on one side, and finally some rocks to negotiate. One for daredevil enthusiasts, but worth a visit if you like caves. It's not that big but it's a dry and light one, halfway up the cliffs, and something a lot of locals have never seen.

Anyhow, back to this cache... the container is the one that was muggled twice at Pondlife (GCZKVM), in the end I decided to convert that cache to a micro and use this new cache as the reward for finding it - the coordinates could only be found on the Pondlife logsheet.

Since I've given up on Pondlife and archived it, this cache is now the Bonus for "Ieaux Dude!" (visit link) If you have found "Ieaux Dude!", you're welcome to message me and I'll send you the coordinates. (if this turns out to be against the rules, I'll go back to "Ieaux Dude!" and put the coords in there)

This cache will give you some exercise and take you to a pleasant bit of coastal scenery. It's at a relatively low level in the landscape, so there's no excuse for getting carried away higher up and falling over the edge of a cliff! At the cache I suppose there is some small danger of falling rocks (relatively unlikely but possible nonetheless), so proceed at your own risk. I'm wary of these things but it didn't worry me unduly.

In the cache there's a 'You are here' map of the nearby area showing a suggested circular walk (if you have the time), the route to a cave you may not want to miss, and the coordinates for another cache which was not too far away and has since been archived - sorry! Try the cache at a low tide if you want to venture onwards to the cave, but be careful if you want to go right in, it's VERY slippy down there when wet!

I hope you enjoy the cache - my thanks to Globus for supplying the logbook here. Please don't leave any hints or pics with clues here - no pics of the amazing things you may find around here :o) ... thanks.

PS.. if you normally research caches and look them up on the map first (like I do!) PLEASE have a go at just entering the coords manually into the GPS and just head straight to it without looking up the cache online... guess where it's going to be on the way - it's quite fun doing it that way for a change!
