Walt's Vault Reopened is a cache that once graced a lovely park, until it was muggled. This is a totally new hide, so you can find it once again. It contains all things Disney and is in a safer, if not easier location. You can take it to your car to look through it. It's a pretty easy find, if you get the low down. Stroller and wheelchair accessible except for cache retrieval. Please replace with small side facing private road, for less visibility.
Walt's Vault has taken longer to be reopened than anticipated. Its muggling left it pretty much intact, minus only the Geocaching explanation sheet and some pages torn from the log and put beside it. Subsequently, the ammo box was “cammoed” a little and a suitable, easier access hide was found, so procrastination was the primary obstacle. Ostensibly, mine, as I was elected to find a new hide. This is a private residence on a private road. Their house is the first house and you can park in their drive. They are Geocachers, sort of. Although my friend has taught a class, I think he averages a cache a month. We have never cached together, but he introduced FROTU33 to caching and, she, me. You may have to move if they go somewhere, or more likely, they will talk your leg off! Not to worry, this cache can be done on one leg! Once parked you can access the cache from the road without going into the yard. Please replace the cache as far back as you can so it is not seen. Also, please leave the pen, as it is part of the cache theme.FTF prize is a set of dog tags to make your own TB
If you've never taken a child to Disneyland for their first time, you've missed an experience that cannot be explained! No matter how jaded, no matter how analytical, no matter how right-brained you are, the child's excitement and enthusiasm will sweep you into the magic of Fairy Tales, Wonderlands, and imagination. Disney was a genius, and he knew how to make you believe that good would always triumph, and Happily Ever After was the only way that things could ever be! He created a Universe ruled by the hearts of Princes, Princesses, Heroes, and Heroines. The unbelievable became real, and the unlikely, commonplace! Disney caught lightening bugs in a bottle, then set them free in his films and Magic Kingdoms. He gave us all a pair of his rose-colored glasses, suspended our belief, and took us to Neverland. As a young father, with my little girl on my shoulders, standing in lines that seemingly had no end, I waited excitedly with her, to be transported to somewhere I'd never been, or even knew existed. The joy, the laughter, and the memories are burned into my brain and painted in bright colors on my heart, so I would be more likely to forget my name than these moments of utter amazement. Some see it as contrived, commercial, and corny ... but, Disney never did!! If it were possible, I would ride, with the best little princess ever born, through “ It's a Small World” for eternity. My daughter and I might still be riding today, if the park hadn't closed and kicked us out that night!!
You can't Tupperware, LocknLock, or ammo can that Disney feeling, but what a wonderful world it would be if you could! Enjoy “Walt's Vault Reopened” and if you capture a bit of magic, share it!!!
CONGRATULATIONS TO Johnny Cache 79 and CompassRoseMaestro FOR FTF!!!!
