Passion For The Cache Traditional Cache
BearPaws61: Thanks IND,DNR !!! This is no longer a fish and wildlife area. It should be called : DNR Deer killing fields. The campground is always over grown with weeds. They took out some of the best camping spots. They charge 12.00 $$ a night to camp. No Electric. They close just about every gravel road so wildlife viewing is impossible !! Now they want more money to hide Geo-caches. Its a shame. We have had caches hidden here for 5 years. Never has it been a problem. Its just another way for the Government to control our lives. We will be removing all our hides !!!

This is an area that we enjoy year round. We thought we would bring you to a bit of history in the middle of nowhere but was once somewhere.........
Pegs mom, "The Joaner", thought the items we placed inside this cache would honor those whom come and gone and yet to pass this way. Enjoy the quiet beauty of this peaceful place. The cache is a large 50 cal ammo box. There is a large variety of trade items for all to enjoy. Have fun, take pictures, and enjoy your stay. Dont forget the other hides in the area........ follow your GPS to a road called "Old Chicago Rd" then look for a small access road on the right. Most of the time you can drive up close. If not, park in the parking area for a short hike. Please re-hide well in same spot.
