Geocache Description:

This cache is located at a DEC Fishing Access Site on Lake Como Road in southeastern Cayuga County. It was originally placed within nearby Dorothy McIlroy Bird Sanctuary; however, I later discovered that the Finger Lakes Land Trust does not allow geocaches on its property. Therefore, the cache was moved off the land. For those who are so inclined, I would recommend making the short drive from this cache to the Bird Sanctuary. I have left parking coordinates below. As for the cache in its present location, you will not have to stray too far from your parking spot to find it. It is a .30-caliber ammo box located just off the fishermen's trail. Please rehide it as well as or better than you discover it.
