Geocache Description:

This is a cache on the Badger State Trail, a newly opened bike trail that will eventually connect Madison with Freeport, IL. There are a number of scenic spots along the trail and I wanted to tempt you to come see them.

I would encourage doing this by bike. This is an easy ride from the current trailhead on Purcell Road (N43 56.604, W 89 28.904). Please approach the cache along the trail. If you are going cross country you will need to cross private lands and the sides of the trail are quite steep in places.

The terrain was rated 2.5 because of the length of the hike. This is much easier, if you are biking.

Climbing is not necessary.

You are looking for a camouflaged water bottle.
