The caches will take you on a circular walk of about four and a half miles. There is a lot of information posted on the way so I will keep the cache pages short. Interloper’s fine “Tynemouth” (GCZXK8) cache and The Old Cone’s excellent multi-cache “John Muir” (GCHBGF) are nearby. Take the co-ordinates for both and the cache page for the multi with you. The log books in each of the “courses” will prompt you when to use them.
The co-ordinates shown are for car parking. The co-ordinates for the main course cache are N 55° 59.792 W 002° 35.354 .
This is cattle and grain country as well as fertile soil for excellent potatoes and other vegetables. So the main course is a big plate of Beef Wellington with a full supporting cast of seasonal veg. You'll need a good walk before you manage a sweet! So take the co-ordinates shown in the paragraph above and apply the correction factors shown in the log book. But how to get there? Follow the path you're on and turn right when you meet a track.
