This is a nice long hike in the woods, take the trail that runs along the river (I'm told there are now only deer trails out here). It's not a park and grab - it's a hike (if you like that sort of thing, which I do!)
In Indiana, Gerbilmafia has started this tradition:
You find this cache and in return place a “Pay it Forward” cache of your own, easy huh?
When somebody finds your cache they do the same, and so on and so on. Maybe you can bring a stocked cache container with you and place it on your way home, maybe you already know of a good location, either way this series has the potential to grow very fast.
Once you place your cache simply name it “Pay it Forward” with your team name attached, example:
Pay it Forward / Team Joe Smoe.
I would love to see this series reach the far corners of the earth while giving back to the Geocaching community at the same time.

This cache is in the Catherine Chevalier Forest Preserve. You can find parking nearby in a ‘family picnic area’.
My daughter and I discovered this spot as a resting place for a large buck and decided to leave the cache here.
You will find log book kits to start your own PIF and a “Where’s George” for the FTF’er.
