Geocache Description:

This traditional cache is planted alongside a Public Footpath which goes from Newbold Verdon to Cadeby. It will involve a short, one and a quarter mile walk to the cache and back to your car (if you park at the designated Car Park).

Please park your car near to St James Church, Newbold de Verdon (see Waypoint Listing). Here you will find the Public Footpath marker to Cadeby and Market Bosworth which is the starting point.

I'd been looking for a new place to walk and place a cache on my OS Explorer Map and fell in love with the name of this Spinney. It conjured-up images of exotic sandy beaches + + - It is somewhat different but a pleasant walk just the same! You will walk across arable and pasture farmland and through 'Botany Bay'.

Unfortuately the terrain looks rather dangerous beyond the Botany Bay Cache site (judging from the Warning signs) and this is why this cache ends rather abruptely. A short but hopefully well worthwile cache. I do hope you enjoy it.
