If you haven’t walked though Merry Dale valley yet then you should!
Merry Dale is situated on the outskirts of upper Slaithwaite. The cache is a decent size container jam packed with swaps and plenty of room for Travel Bugs. You will find the foot paths through Merry Dale very well sign posted. There is a lovely little stream flowing though the bottom of the valley and dear have been spotted in this valley on many occasions.
The cache is also near a fab pub “Rose & Crown” at Cop Hill. Which I highly recommend visiting afterwards for great food and real ale!
