There has been a time change!! The event is from 10am-12pm.
The Alabama Open Invitational After Party Event
Sunday September 30th from 10am-12p.
Lets show Gulf State Park what good stewards of the land geocachers really are and clean up after ourselves.
We will meet at the event site and clean that area and head over to the Fish Fry event pavillion and clean up there. If there are enough volunteers we can split into groups and get both areas cleaned at the same time.
I will provide latex gloves and trash bags. If you have better gloves bring those.
I understand that everyone will be busy packing up and heading home so don't feel obligated to stay the whole time. If you can only show up for a little that will help.
At the end of the event the three people who have picked up the most bags of trash will win a prize. If there is a tie then we'll draw sticks. I will also have drinks and snacks.
Whoever picks up the least amount of trash has to haul it to the dumpsters.;)
