Palm Tree Crawl Traditional Cache
Keri&Scott: After getting the note that the brush was being cleared I took a drive past the cache site. I noticed there was a truck at GZ and a man cutting the brush. I pulled over and asked him if he found an ammo can. Luckily he had found it and had it in his truck. He said he was going to put it on ebay. He also suggested that next time I should hide it better and to put a phone number in it so that the owner can be notified. I'll be looking for a new location for a new cache soon.

Dr. Robert A. Anderson’s 45 years of service in 4-H started in 1938
when he was 10 years old in Winchester, West Virginia. He was very
active in club activities, attended summer camps, was elected club
President, and participated in the West Virginia State Fair. Dr.
Anderson was also the first 4-H boy to receive a Gold 4-H Pin.
Following college and military service, in 1950 Dr. Anderson became
a 4-H Camp Counselor teaching crafts, swimming and water safety
classes, while serving as the camp lifeguard. He was selected to be
Principal of Winfield High School in West Virginia, where he
encouraged 4-H programs in high school as an activity for students.
Anderson and his family moved to Brevard County Fla. in 1962.
During his more than 30 years serving Florida 4-H, Anderson has
found time to judge County and District Events, and he was a
charter member of the Brevard County 4-H Foundation. Under his
leadership he has raised thousands of dollars to support
scholarships for 4-H Congress, Legislature, camps and conferences.
He has also coached, counseled and advised hundreds of 4-H youth to
enter Brevard Community College. Anderson said, “4-H taught me how
to assume responsibility. When a task was assigned to me I learned
that it was my responsibility to complete it. As a club officer I
learned leadership principles and how to lead meetings, assign
committees, and formulate strategies for accomplishing goals.” Now
I don't know Mr. Anderson but he does a very pretty park. This park
is new to Geocaching. But I also have another hide in this park so
please take advantage of it. This is a popular fishing hole so
watch out. There are no parking spaces but please don't drive where
you shouldn't be driving or you might go for a drink.
