Cache moved to new location due to the construction of a new lookout platform. See amended co ordinates. New Location not far from new lookout platform.
One of the more spectacular lookouts around Blackheath. Turn left over the railway line then right into Shipley road. Follow Shipley Rd. past some apple orchards and at the junction near the art gallery turn right for Mount Blackheath. When you reach Mount Blackheath you will be rewarded with a spectular view of the Kanimbla Valley. There are picnic facilities located here as well. Look for the running boards used by the hanggliders and if you are lucky you may also catch sight of eagles soaring on the thermals. The cache is a small plastic container 20cmx14cm5xcm, not too close to the cliff line. Small swaps only.
