Geocache Description:

Small film like container.

It's been awhile but I figured it was time to introduce everyone to another old cemetery. I found this one a while back but am just getting around to hiding it. The coordinates will take you to the cemetery.

It is located on the edge of Schenk Forest and is surprisingly untouched and surrounded by green rolling fields. Originally a log cabin church stood next to the cemetery, long since moved and now, no longer a small log cabin church, Mount Olivet Church is located at 3500 Edward Mill Rd., about 5 miles away. The cemetery belongs to the church and contains about .5 acre. There are a number of Maynards in the cemetery but I did not recognize the other names.

As my other cemetery caches you will need to read the stones to obtain numbers for the final. While I believe you can go through the fence and look at the stones I decided to pick names that you can view from outside the fence.

The cache is close by and is NOT in Schenk Forest and is not on NC State property (do not have to cross the fence).
