The Cache Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

guinea gal: Although the Cache is on park property...signs have been showing in the area indicating that it is Private Property/No Trespassing. This is too good an ammo can to let go to waste, and I am sure it will show up somewhere else soon! Thanks to all who found it.

Geocache Description:

This cache requires special equipment...but believe it or not, you won't need a boat!

Coordinates for this cache are:
N43 19.638 W 078 42.420

I tried to keep this a fun puzzle cache, but people keep stealing the Travel Bugs with the coordinates, or put them in stupid places, even though the directions clearly say to keep in the area. Working on making this a Traditional cache. Enjoy!

Several years ago, I won a special ammo can from NYGO at an event. It was special because it was stocked! This cache deserved a special place to be hidden, and unfortunately, my immediate hometown isn't very ammo can friendly!

So I stumbled upon this little spot. The cache is NOT listed at the above coordinates! It is much easier to get to than that. It does, however, require a little bit of tracking.

In order to FIND this cache, you will need to find The Coords (TB14NDJ) or The Coords II (TB2HV9C). These travel bug tags contain the coordinates to this cache. These tags are quite small and they are easy to forget about after you pick them up, so please remember to move them along as soon as possible!

I ask that you please drop these travel bug tags in US caches only. Canadians are more than welcome to join the hunt! You did, after all, inspire this cache! But please do not drop the tags over the border, hold onto them and drop them here.

The cache is hidden in an area with posted hours, please obey them. The way to the cache is mostly a trail, but hidden off the path a bit. It's very wet and mucky during the Spring.

Keep a watch on these tags as they may be coming to a cache near you!

Happy Hunting!

Congratulations to Lakeshore Geocachers for the FTF!
