While Geocaching.com would like to continue to hold the location for you, doing so blocks other cachers from placing caches in the area. We feel that this cache has been disabled for a period of time exceeding what is reasonable for the area, and thus I regretfully must archive it.

If you are able to get out and replace the cache, simply drop me a note and let me know the GC waypoint number of the cache or better yet, the URL of the cache page. I will be more than happy to take a look at it to see if it is still is within the guidelines of the Geocaching.com website for cache placement and posting.

Geocache Description:

You are about to embark on a pirate adventure to Davy Jone's Locker...

This cache is located on Grass island, a tiny island in very shallow waters in lake St. Claire. It is near Anchor Bay and where the Clinton river meets lake St. Clair. The Coordinates will get you there, just trust them.

***Warming***
Do not mess with the birds (this is there island) or "ruins" on or around this island, enjoy your caching adventure and leave everything as you found it!

You will need wet shoes to walk on this island, because it has been taken over by birds and there is a lot of um... stuff that you wont want to step on. I recomend traveling to this island on a Seedoo or other very small water craft that can be rowed or pushed through very shallow waters (around a foot deep). There are many bugs on this island as well, but i have not yet found one that bites. Good Luck on this cache and don't give up!

The Original cache contains some good things that you will not ever know unless you go out and find it for yourself.
