A short hike up a mountain to a beautiful rock outcropping. Trail is well marked, but steep and rocky. Hiking Boots required.
Located just off Route 608 near Vesuvius, VA. The trailhead is off the National Forest access road.
You are looking for a traditional ammo box cache. It is just above the Lookout Rock. Please stay on the trail until at the hide coordiates. I averaged the coordinates, so it should be accurate.
The Nature Camp is located in the valley below. If you are seeking this cache during the summer, you may run into the campers and/or hear them in the camp.
